Learn about The History of the Jews On the “Gold Coast” of the Upper East Side, and see how the other half lived.

On this NEW TOUR, experience with Susan Birnbaum, your guide, the world of the rich and famous-– the Jewish movers and shakers of finance, commerce and retail.

Our 1st stop will be Temple Emanu-El where we will have a docent led tour at the Bernard Museum of Judaica. The exhibit is entitled "HELLO GORGEOUS" about Barbra Streisand. Then, (pending availability), we will also tour the synagogue's magnificent sanctuary.

Next we walk along 5th Ave, where you learn about its residents and see an example of where they resided, ending at the Jewish Museum- a fantastic example of how the other half lived, There you will have the opportunity to visit on your own, have a bite at the Russ and Daughters Cafe in the basement of the museum, or shop til you drop at their gift shop.

The price includes the use of wireless headsets to enable you to better hear the guide.

This tour lasts approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours..

There will be a limit of 15 attendees on this tour.

Proper Mask wearing is Mandatory. No Mask, no tour!

In order to better enable you to hear the guide while social distancing, we will be using an app for smart phones. If you have earphones for your cell, please bring them with you.

Tickets are $28 for an adult/$26 for a senior (65+) and $25 for a student (under 21) and an additional $3PP when purchased the day of the tour (pending availability)
